A Chanel Coco Pleats flap shoulder bag from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The diamond quilted flap closes with an interlocking CC turn lock in silver tone metal, and the leather below it is gathered into soft vertical pleats that give the line its name. A leather interwoven curb chain passes through two eyelets at the top edge and doubles as the shoulder strap. The back has a quilted slip pocket, and the beige textile interior holds a zip pocket and a leather patch marked CHANEL and MADE IN FRANCE.
Colour. A soft beige, sometimes listed as dark white, with a slight sheen from the glazed finish.
Size. Approximately 31 cm wide, 20 cm high and 5 cm deep, or about 12.2 by 7.9 by 2 inches.
Material. Glazed calfskin with silver tone hardware and a textile lined interior.
Condition. Excellent, with only very light wear to the leather and hardware, the flap and pleats holding their shape and the interior clean.
